Still Working on your New Year's Resolution?
How many times have you promised yourself “Monday I will start my diet, no excuses!” or “I will NEVER put myself in this situation, ever again!”. Do you feel like you will never get yourself into a regular exercise program, no matter how many times you try?

How many times have you read a self-help book, got all fired up, felt hope and motivation, but right when you’re about to start making some changes, you met an invisible wall, that “something” preventing you from moving forward? It might seem that no matter what you try, no matter how hard you try or how many different ways you try to do something you always end up at the same place you were before. Sounds familiar?

Good news is, no situation is a dead end, no matter what.

Most of our behavior was learned during the first five years of our lives. We are born with a couple of fears such as fear of being dropped, but everything else is learned nonsense and it can be unlearned.

Unlock the power of your subconscious mind, and free your mind to accomplish amazing things! Why wait? Free yourself from fears, self-imposed limitations, unwanted habits and self-sabotage. Take charge of your life!

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is the "art of suggestion", a way to bypass critical thinking, a way to tweak your mind, so that what you want can finally happen.

Hypnotherapy is a highly successful, clinically-proven, behavioral modification approach used by psychologists and therapists for hundreds of years. Unlike traditional therapy, most people notice results after just one session.

It is estimated that approximately 85% of people of all age groups will readily respond to clinical Hypnotherapy. It is often successful when other, more conventional methods of treatment have failed.

How Hypnosis Can Help

Everything we see, hear, and experience (whether you remember it or not), including the beliefs and behaviors of the people around you, became rooted in your subconscious mind, creating your "mental script".  Parents, teachers, cultural or religious affiliations, and the media - all impact and help create those scripts.

Our scripts are responsible for who we are, what we do, and what we have today. Then, amazingly, they will continue to affect those who knew us who are left behind. In other words, mental script it’s the way we think. It’s how we react (often unknowingly) to a given situation.

While most people experience a strong desire to change "destructive" behaviors, people are also very likely to found themselves constantly steering away from the very changes they would like to bring into their lives, no matter how strong the desire to change may be.

The reason why most attempts to change a habit don't work is because the subconscious mind overpowers the conscious desire to make a change. If your mental script believes that "you will never be successful", unfortunately the majority of your attempts to create success will fail, because your subconscious' job is to keep you in your "comfort zone". Any attempt to change that program will trigger what is know as the fight/flight mechanism in your brain, and this powerful defense system will do whatever it takes to take you right back to your familiar grounds.

Hypnosis is a completely natural and healthy way to change unwanted behaviors and to improve quality of life. While in Hypnosis, positive suggestions can be directed to the subconscious mind, making it possible to eliminate limiting beliefs and counter-productive habits in a very short period of time.

Did you know that the Average Success Rate for Hypnotherapy is 93% after only 6 sessions?

It is very impressive, especially if compared with Psychoanalysis (38% after 600 sessions) and Behavioral Therapy (72% after 22 sessions).

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO CHANGE?

Because you are not the boss. What you want means nothing. Zip. Nada. And I am sorry for being the one pointing that out to you. You are not in charge, plain and simple. All this mighty intelligence you have, all this creativity, problem-solving skills, all the IQ points and years of conscious effort tying to do whatever it is that you want to do have as much persuasive power over your subconscious mind as a 4 year-old.

Sounds harsh, huh? I know... But that is the truth. It takes a special set of circumstances for your subconscious mind to allow changes in your behavior, because your subconscious mind doesn't quite care about what your conscious mind wants. And that’s why it is so hard to form new habits - or get rid of "bad" ones.

Let me explain… Think about taking a 4 year-old to the grocery store with you… All is well; the child is fine and well behaved, up to the point when he sees a lollipop in your pocket. He asks for it,  but you say no – he needs to have dinner first, right? So, you explain your reasons to him and go on with your grocery shopping.

But that child is hungry… and he is getting cranky too. So, he asks for the lollipop again. And again, you say no. He argues with you, tries to explain to you that lollipop is food, that it is good for him. He makes a "pinky promise" that he will eat dinner afterwards, why can’t he have the lollipop now? But you don't give in. Only after dinner, you say.

Now he is bouncing around, touching everything, asking you for an ice-cream cone or a candy bar, or putting stuff in the shopping kart that you don’t want to buy. You are tired, you have a lot in your mind, your boss was driving you nuts that day, your shoes are hurting your feet, the grocery store is packed full, and that child has been asking you for that lollipop for 2 hours straight now. All that asking, and arguing, and crying, and… (you get the picture, right?). There is a very big chance that the next time he asks you for the bloody lollipop you will say “Alright!!! Alright! Here! Have it! Just be quiet for a minute, for heaven’s sake!” and you will breathe a sight of relief. Gosh, finally! Some peace and quiet!

Now, what happened was that his persistence met your exhaustion, and all of a sudden it became more important to you to keep your sanity and finish your grocery shopping without loosing your mind, than to keep the lollipop in your pocket and give it to him only after dinner.  If the circumstances were different you would probably stick to your plan. If you had more patience you would’ve kept the lollipop with you. If the grocery store wasn’t so full, or if you were promoted that day, then you would have kept your word, wouldn’t you? But under the previously [painfully] described circumstances, when you find yourself facing a “do or die” dilemma, it is easy to understand why pretty much anyone would have no problem changing their mind.

But what if that lollipop wasn’t a lollipop? What if it was – hypothetically - a loaded gun (not that you would take a loaded gun with you to the grocery store). There is no amount of asking, begging, crying and jumping that would make you give that child a gun, isn’t that right?

Now, let's get back to the battle between YOU (AKA the 4 year-old) and your SUBCONSCIOUS MIND (AKA the adult)… It is the same thing! Most of “your” requests will meet a big fat NO right from the start. It really doesn’t matter how much you argue, beg and cry. You can even try to defend the idea that what you want is good for you. If whatever you want happens to be different than what your subconscious mind believes to be “good”, then you are not getting it. Period.

Sure enough, you can win by exhaustion. You can get your subconscious tired of saying no – if you combine the right amount of ingredients, though. If the circumstances are just right, if you insist for long enough, if what you want is not perceived as a loaded gun by your subconscious, then you MIGHT get lucky and get what you want… Do you know how often that happens? Yeap, that’s right. Almost never.

So? Are you stuck with your problems forever? Not at all! We just have to "manipulate the system" a little bit. We go talk to the adult, the subconscious mind - using hypnosis. Hypnosis turns a NO into a YES – without all the hassle, frustration and stress that would normally take place in order for you to “convince” your subconscious that you should have what you want.
